an 174 euro amd cpu beats a 750 euro intelhttp://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=3344&p=14
2 screens below, amd on par with intel same pricerange.i got a link somewhere, where amd is beating intel in games.
alot of stuff is intel optimized.
there are benchmarks that are so fucked up, that if you fake the amd cpu for an intel cpu, the amd cpu suddenly can do 10% better in that benchmark.2 weeks a new set of mobo's have been released, they make it possible for most 9950 phenoms to run 3200mhz. some 3ghz just with stock voltage.
Dunno what this tests show. First of all there are stock frequences, and we all know that oced Intel would kick AMD's ass. Ye, there is X6800 minimaly beating E6750, but as I said, its low price range and it isn't overclocked. I really dunno how did you create your teory, everywhere in the net you can read ppl blaming AMD, cuz its getting pwnz0r.
well so it seems i am going for
the ati hd blabla gpu :>would be E8500 dual core be good? and what mobo would me be the best for it which can take everything out of the processor
Ye, E8500 is nice CPU with great overclocking potential. Take P5K-E or P5Q-E as motherboard, depending of your budget. Both will work quite well.
dont be so offensive dude, just showing some details i find with google that amd aint so bad as you think.

a great full list

Its not about FPS,its about the fact that intel is lacking HTT in its dual core segment which makes it like a fast car with limit. Many ppl from respectable forums reported intel feeling jerky in games despite the higher fps than on amd. Cause no htt - slower communication with ram which u can easily verify in everest memory benchmarks where intel cpus get beaten badly in latency tests. And yes, most ppl who complained about that intel feature own both AMD and intel systems and they say amd is feeling much smoother in games.
nooooo now i am confused
seems amd is better than e8500 in the benchmark tests daaaamn -.-'
making me dizzy...
Take E8500. Ratz is drunk
Ratz, the difference may be 1-2 fps if there is really difference in games, and you are still talking about stock frequencies. Using Core 2 at stock is potential waste.
No.
There's E8600, but its sensless too pay more for few mhz, you gonna overclock E8500 anyway, right?

And u still keep talking about fps altho i clearly said fps is not the problem here, its the lack of HTT in intel dual core cpu's. Intel has higher fps then amd (we are talking about dual core cpu's) but its not used to full potential cause communication with ram is slow and latency is high = using slow FSB instead of much faster HTT and HT link on which entire system communicates.
But riku allready made his choice so its pointless to debate any further.
