I voted "I use everything possible", simply because I fakenick, clan tag, myself-name etc. I barely use fakenick and if that's the situation, the most would recognize me because of my flag and my "Hi-didelidoo, neighboureenos!" bind. What's this big deal about fakenicking anyway? Why do you care about what others use as a nick? If you don't use your clan tag, but for example Lakitu! - You would still recognize me and then what's the problem?
Still there's something I don't like. People with fakenicks like ., sux and that with this bad behaviour. If he loses, he say "you're really not a good player". I really don't care about what people think about my skills, but that sure is irritating me if one lose and says things like that. And with the legendary I'M THE BEST-behaviour. "oh great, now I have to play for three guys", because he is on a team where he is the best.

On topic, Rena, fakenicking sometimes is a good thing.
For example, I remember some random TDM game, and some dude who was fakenicking kept gaunting people. Then stop gaunting people, and started to go after you and Kickz exclusively. Now I know that person, and that person likes you (doesnt condone your behaviour of telling "fuck off" to kids half his age over the BRO+ thing, but likes you as a dude).
And over the cries of
"5th time rena :D"
"6th time rena :P"
and with the reply of "You are idiot", you and that dude wouldn't really get along if you knew who that was, so fakenicking saved us all a flame between 2 people who are cool with each other.

Yea, he will don't do that in the first place if he wear own nick. I always play with tag and say what I think, and stay behind my words
No one forbid him to pummel me of course, but going after me specifically and counting is annoying specially when I have only half of hour per day to play some q3...
In other words, believe me I will be not so pissed when I know who do that... Friends make jokes, not strangers. For me he was stranger.

fakenicking is somthing ive never done really.
even if im playing bad or pissing about on the servers i dont change my name coz when it comes to clan wars then thats when things get serious an thats when i try

many times i loosed 12-0 intentionaly, for tottally beginers...
its much funier to see theirs reaction, when they can own stronger oponents... against u beat 12-0 with nick "n00b" and after all u show ur real nick (and indicate: sry im pro, u had no chance to beat me... )

i have 7 different dirty tags... i mainly use one of them... so not always with clantag, but most of the times with my normal nickname.
i also have some fakenicks i.e. "your name here" 
but i mainly use them when i already played with my normal nick on that server. so it's just cause i think such names are funny and not because i want no one to see me playing...
i also noticed some good players who fake their nicks, just to get other ppl fucked up and insult him with "noob" or whatever. really funny how "pros" react when they lose vs someone whos not well known

When I'm using fakenicks, if I'm playing with people I know I always show my real name cfg or at least my binds so they know it's me. I use fakenicks most people know are mine, revealing who I am for anyone who asks.
Sometimes I make fakenicks relating to my current situation or the players around me also. One time on freeze I started laughing so hard, I used the name "necrosucks" and Zoomer liked the idea so much he changed his to "Zoomer4sucks" 
we had lots of fun that time pwning with "we suck" names
Anyway, people know most of my fake names or can see my tag style to know it's me before I use my binds. I've shocked a few people in recent months though, which was fun (had a great game with Smoker a few weeks back, for one, where we both played fakenick until the last kills, SO INTENSE because neither of us knew who the other was until then and we were playing hard )
Bah, if I was clanleader or something and found players using fakenicks that made no sense I wouldn't care as long as they didn't use the fakenicks to hide behind while behaving like idiots. That's different.
And for me, I'm always acting like an idiot, so it doesn't matter what name I use
