GTA 4 rocks, i got it on my PS3 and it's f'in awsome, didn't play it for a couple of months now, but i'll surely start playing it again after new years.
Multiplayer does rock as you said, so being without it is a big loss, if i would want it on PC i would surely buy it, but it came out on PS3 so much sooner, i had to get it.

Alltho Resistance 2 is on my top playable games right now and considering i only play at weekends for an hour or so, i don't have much time for anything else. I love the 60 player online in Resistance it's awsome!

PS3, gotta love it!

Well I wont...its exactly that kind of thinking (yours) which supports these fuckers (game devs) to malest us and screw our minds with all these protection technologies (from ourselves). Boycott the fuckers, dont pay them and we will see how will the wheels turn. Boycotting EA allready showed some results, now they said they will remove securom from their steam titles and maybe even retail titles. Fuckers force us to buy consoles, intentionally, well FUCK YOU, i wont buy a console to play a stupid game if i allready spend over 1000 euro on a new pc. And i will never buy a securom game. NEVER. No matter how good it is (allready given up on gta4).

Who said anything about stealing? Or pirating?
Honest work? Wait, did u say honest?

So its honest to charge me 60 euro (croatian price) for a game that:

- will infect my system with fucking securom
- is totaly crap optimized and full of bugs (forcing vsync on purpose, shadows look like crap on lower resolutions, NO AA SUPPORT)
- has absolutely useless tech support and updates (read gta forums and inform yourself about the "patch" if u allready havent, u will soon realize what im talking about)
- has NO support for steering wheels
- in the moment of release had no working multiplayer

Um, no thx, i rather buy some other game which has no securom and has a good multiplayer. I would never give 60 euro for an unfinished and crippled game which will, as a bonus infect my system with crap which i cannot remove.
The price in those circumstances should have been 15-20 euro and then we can talk about honesty and realistic price which will justify "hard work"/

I got GTA4 on my PC since there was premiere in Poland and I had some problems with running it too, but after some time I finally have, rockstar social club account and windows live tag attached to it so I can play, save my progress and have fun on multiplayer, in first and second day of the premiere (03 dec) I wasnt able to play online cuz my country was blocked xD
But they unlocked poland and other countries.
What is that I dont like is that there are only 1 settings for all keys, gfx etc and they are not saving on my game progress, so I some1 else run the game load his save game he need to change all keys again =/
And ofc without internet I cant save my game Big grin

Multiplayer is very funny, and those details of the city just rocks.

So I was pissed too at the beggining very bad but now I dont give a shit about all that securities etc cuz my game works.

why they get even the idea to give securom a chance? because of millions of stupid warez users, who are steeling game for game for game.

each game could be sold 2-3 times more, if warez wouldnt be possible in an acceptable way. i dont say securom is a good try, but i understand why they do it.

most people wouldnt fucking buy that game because of this or that reason, i understand that gta4 is a good game, but when hearing the problems i wouldnt buy it, neither i would have the money for it as lots of other gamers.

Securom is just wrong. It hurts legit ppl who have actually bought the fucking game. It only shows the politics of companies which manufacture pc games. They must know and be well informed about what securom does but they obviously dont care, thinking they will stop piracy. Well, good morning dickheads, u cannot stop it. And u never will. Im sure there will be a workarround even for the hardcoded securom chips in motherboards, which is the near future.

Warez cannot be stopped, and u know it. But if the way of thinking of those CEO's sitting in their chairs and smoking cigars would change just a bit, they would get more legit users and ppl who buy games, i assure u. Remove securom, lower the price and lets see how many will buy it. In my country average paycheck is 300-350 euro, many cannot afford a game which costs 50-60, and sometimes 70 euro, but if that game would be 20-30 euro... What im trying to say that the pricing of games, at least in my country is seriously wrong. Totally incompatible with actual standards and avg. paychecks and every fucking game costs the same. Wtf...a crap game, a good game...most of them have the identical price tag here and its just wrong.
