You're not counting in the immense stress (you think those guys are made of stone?) associated with the fact they were having a penalty shootout in the final of the single most prestigious club competition in the world. Oh and it was raining like a bitch, that's why Van Der Sar and Cech both let one in when they had the ball on their gloves.

For me it was not bad, it clearly showed who's a real professional and who is not. Van Der Sar kept his cool till the end, saving the Anelka strike. Ronaldo crumbled down like a card house. Terry was simply unlucky, he did everything right. I'm sure if it wasn't raining, he would have scored that. I was really impressed by Giggs, who didn't even blink, and calmly put it home, stone faced, real professional. Anelka did what Anelka does, he let everyone down, coz he's a cunt.

A little more on Ronaldo, though - yeah, he has an immense ego, he's the Fresh Prince of the now, but he earned his rep by playing fantastic football this season. You guys cannot possibly deny the fact that he was the engine of the United machine this season, and him not scoring that penalty does not change that (remember who scored the goal for United).

1) Chelsea and Abram & Avram &co were denied a champs league medal in Moscow, which felt good
2) My dad was cheering for chelsea
3) My best mate is a lifelong Manc (grew up down in London though, but from a mancehster family)

Which gave me enough motivation to be "the other shade of red" for an evening... so WOO WOO indeed

liverpool would have been better againstman u in the final tho cos of decades of rivalry and similar amounts of trophies (wehave more of euro and domestic cups and leagues tho still ) (even tho the bastards are catching up)
