this Steam sounds like a interesting concept. but I won't touch it after hearing Rage's probs with it.

reno, rage did not even had a look in his steamfolders Happy

I am pretty sure that it can be played without barriers. (except u must run steam-programme to play steam-bought-games)

I bought the "id Super Pack" a couple of days ago and had no problems at all so far, also I love how convenient it all is (so convenient in fact, that I've already thought "damn, I wish this was on Steam" about a whole bunch of other games). A couple of seconds with paypal and very, very fast downloads, at good price. Of course, I own a bunch of those games already but considering how long I've been enjoying Quake III alone (and some others to lesser extent) without having a copy of my own, $69.95 is nothing.
