QuakeLive Insta Config v1.8
Didnt notice much difference, would be nice to see some improvements in netcode, way to much of through shots... i hope some devs of this mod still active .
-shooting through really shine at this cfg , with an pretty weird hitbox and u're done ,
-let's not mention the air control wich doesn't allow for a proper strafe it takes a few to get use to and it doesn't give an satisfying effect even if u do learn how to do it properly .
-When ure passing by an heightened object and u want to shoot right after it screws the shot pretty badly and the catch is that it doesn't matter how high the object is it could be 2 milimeters .
-about the smoothness i guess its just the placebo efect , it doesn't feel any smoother than the 1.7 version .
-at last the spawn timer works really random , sometimes u get the kill even if the player just respawned in that second, and sometimes u don't .

Think you mix tele-exits with spawns.
i didn't notice anything different then on previous version of this ql copied cfg. Played some public matches on 1.7 and tried yesterday 1.8 nothing noticable at least for me. I like fast thawing tho. Makes game a bit faster and not that much boring.

Changes implemented at ! !FTAG ERA RAIL QLinsta v1.8108.61.253.73:27965
1. i didnt touched anything in the Hitbox settings , same as before = 1.1;
2. its the same feeling as before, i only add rampjumps = 1, to have a smoother up/downstairs feeling on the maps and you cant strafe like on cpm physics
3. i think many provider have DDos Attacks and Tracert Route Problems ( in Germany for sure , you need good ip Tables to block that IP`s)
4. the forcerespawn is faster now but you have the same spawnprotection as before
my 2 cents: i like that config as it is now, some new quakelive features are available but voteable with cvars= xp_warmup (Rounds based Games and Clanarena Support), xp_slithery ( Sliding Ice Block effect yes or no in Freeze Tag), No Teleport Thaw anymore, adding Rampjumps etc.all in all is this a good mix for the best gameplay
This Version 1.8 is = legal successor when you ask me!
