First, I'm fairly new so maybe I missed it, but I never saw a poll asking the community about the config they would want to see on public servers such as aim/beer. ( thing you said about 80% 20% democracy ). -- sideways - Those servers are actually being payed for by the people who supposedly make the decision of configs on it, so in that case I don't think I or any other person should have a say about it, unless the people who bought the server want it for the community as they do I guess.

That is a good cfg and people like it, but most people who play it play rail only, while most community plays FTAG with all weapons, so the server is simply not as relevant to people as Beer / Aim.
Third I've seen dumber things that fighting for opinions/wants/needs/passions of people , specially when it's not for a selfish cause.

Personally , I know jack shit about cfgs, Still dunno the diff between plusN and plusC unless it's just items ( hp armor ) , except the new change where rail damage is lower, which I don't really love but I guess I can handle it since it's better training for CW.

I see what you mean about can't do a poll about it, it's true, and first thing that people should say to fala/devs is thanks for doing the job. But if it was just 1 person I don't think kiku would open this blog post - Meaning it's SOME/Many people.So what I say is, instead of saying their stupid and such, just guide them to a place they can be heard. I KNOW there's the cfg thread, and suggestion/feedback forums, but if we've come to this maybe we need something more specific to calm shit down? I mean I see fala answering a million answers on that cfg thread, I hope it could be more simple, Something like a weekly cleaned thread where Fala/devs read feedbacks, and once a week clean it and post answers with quotes .

Well it's the gift and the curse, being able to help people, people need to try and deal with it.( not regarding to you since no one can do it for so long I guess ).And the way I see it, is Fala has never ending work as it is! only it looks like a mess if someone like me is trying to read 5 pages to see what's going on - allot of times cause diff people ask same thing cause they don't know how to begin reading all those pages. I think people with the knowledge about these stuff/ devs/ fala would prefer having an organized thread that gets locked/archived every end of the week or 2 weeks, will be much easier for them to work / get requests, and will be more open for people with feedback / dislikes of cfgs, I believe they'll feel being taken under consideration.

I play whatever cfg there is on any freeze tag servers and all changes in last two years didn't really affect my gaming experience in a major way.... I like current cfg on beer the most!

no offense kiku but if kid was the main inspiration for this post then you should have talked to him and not take it to forum.... and it seems to me people didn't really take it too serious

I disagree with kid's recent opinions and actions too to be honest....

I think kid became billy the kid after skull wrote some post where he said kid was "less than a half player".

i talked to kid (already some days ago) to pinpoint the problem.

his problem is the weapon switch.

our problem is that he has is a friend of conspiracy theories. actually hes saying that the weaponswitch is optimized for the good players (since they dont have any problems) and that these good players do not let the easy players warmup and 'train' their switch.

there is another problem that kid has is the non shooting weapons when switching, this might be connection problem or config related, thats why i asked kid for a demo from localhost which i didnt recive yet.
