Baseq3 ents files
Hi,
As requested by many players and server admins, here are the custom ents files having the following features :
- All previous spawnpoints on the maps are kept intact.
- New spawnpoints have been added.
- CTF, RTF and 1FCTF compatibility for all baseq3 maps.
- Grouped teams spawn compatible
- No more air spawns (except q3dm4 and q3dm14 : they have few on very hidden places)

extract the zip into excessiveplus/maps folder
How to enable/disable :
use the command xp_noCustomEnts disable the ents file
or
define a specific rotation like following :
xp_noCustomEnts : "1" q3dm8 q3dm7 { xp_noCustomEnts : "0" } q3dm11 q3dm6 { xp_noCustomEnts : "0" }
xp_noCustomEnts : "0"

i only recognized some of the new spawns at ffa or noone and all of them which are high up in the air bothered me.. especially on spacemaps..
maybe it is a thing of taste but i want to spawn on the floor, so i can move right on.. when starting in the air one is limited to low speeds and no weaponmovements.. and this doesnt feel right for excessive plus
but it seems all who like this server liked the spawns so dont mind my rumbling
as i said i dislike all air spawns on open maps/space maps because it limits the movability and slows one really down.. but maybe thats a thing of taste..
so i cant help you single out some bad air spawns since i totally dislike the airspawnconcept on open maps
without air spawns
yeah, they totally suck especially when you spawn above a jumppad: you fall, then you jump - can't aim properly, more over, you're an easy target while you're in mid-air. for example, dm17 becomes totally unplayable, imo.
maybe it was a bad idea to create new spawn points
I haven't got any feedback yet, so I suppose all like them and for all maps ?
If you find a spawn inapropriate, pls post exact location (map/room/details) so it could be fixed.
