mods don't just become mods when they want to be mods, if so many people dislike them, "group of people who decide about mods" should change them.

I've always felt that question who decides about naming moderators is something out of reach of vast majority of community, I remember asking Seebz almost 2 years ago about that, when I first joined forum, and he told me something like "a group of people do it", and that was it, no names just that, it made me feel like "you're a noob, none of your business", unwanted. gg for closed community image - welcome new players. Not that it was Seebys fault at all <3 (maybe he was to busy, there could have been 1000 reasons for keeping info to himself), guess people like it that way, keeping it all in family.

when you have couple of people who decide on their own will for "good" of 100 other people, strange things happen, like this strike. I would at least like to see some list with the names of people "in charge" of forum, maybe it would make it look like people don't just appear out of thin air as mods (for example Dark Angel and Black Rose, I was on forums quite often, and I never saw a vote about them becoming moderators), maybe put a vote when new moderator needs to be decided next time.

I've read the topic about rtfc final and I don't get it why some players got 14 days ban, i think it was syntax or someone else from thc, was it based on some pm communication with mods or what? I doubt he could have said such "bad things" in 1 or 2 posts that would lead to 14 days ban, or was it 7 days ban, I got lost in all the bans.

I am for the warnings/bans because it gives people impression this forum isn't everybodys punching bag used to get rid of their frustrations, but things such as moderators selection need to be done much more democratically, this way it looks like forums are run by African banana-state leaders.
