Got the server, works fine, but a little problem... help

Hello!

I made a 1v1 server about railin' stuff... up to internet.
I made the all the files with excessiveplus editor.
It works cool, ppl can join...
BUT, everytime I start the .bat file, all of my setups lost. I mean everything in my game goin' to default settings, my name turn to Unnamed Player, resolution 640x480, mouse settings etc...and also my alias keys get lost, what makes me really pissed off...
Do you know how to solve this problem? What should I rewrite in teh config file or any ideas ??
Anyway it feels so awesome to have my own rail server, no lagz, any anytime I could play on my favourite place with friends, and also welcome others! Happy

Got the server, works fine, but a little problem... help

q3 overwriting ur q3config.cfg file - there are 2 solutions:

1. make .cfg file with other name and with all ur settings (ex. tilc.cfg) and then type in console- \exec tilc.cfg (recommended solution)

2. just writeprotect it (but it won't save any of ur modifications made from console)

Now, I get home...

Which config file I need to make with a different name? Now, Im using "lol.cfg", it has nothing to do with the q3config.cfg, hasn't it?
So, I don't know what do you want to say with this.

This helps about my problem, but don't know if I manually write into the q3config.cfg my aliases, name... will those stay there? If yes, than I'll use this 2. option.

save ur q3config.cfg with different name...

btw u can type in console \writeconfig <name>.cfg to save ur current cfg file and exec this1 next time...
