T-Com
was talking yesterday with ratz, and we agree that popularity of online gaming is droping down couse of that internet routing we curently do have...
Im carrying this problem since they increased to 384kbps or 512kbps (my provider)...cant remmember but on 256kbps it was super smooth and everywhere 20-50 ping with never any packet loss.My provider has 2 options for routing,1 via SIOL aka slovenian provider, for a while routing was going thru them and that was the time when I had perfect ping.2nd routing option is thru our monopolistic provider in cro,t-com a.k.a deutsche telecom. After austrians bought my provider they cut routing thru slovenian provider and now we're stuck with t-com.But even when t-com users have good ping I still have packet loss..
I am on T-Com and did not played awhile, about two weeks. I start to play two days a go and network really sux !
T-Com have now serious problems with routing indeed. I have all kind of shit when playing. Mouse stop to respond, can't shoot. Huge packet loss occasionally. Then whole space trembling Feel like delirium tremens without white mouses.
So, while T-Com finish with upgrading those DSLAM equipment we will have shits. So far I know they will soon start with ADSL2+ full. Then we will not have time to rest from problems. After ADSL2+ they will continue with VDSL as in Germany... Means we will be even more hungry for bandwidth. So, capacities will be variable all the time. We live in very fast changes in comunicado I have bad feeling that online gamers in Croatia will not have soon stable routing.... Yea we will be virtual noobs all the time.

if mouse stops responding it isnt a problem on inet
try playing offline modus ;p
Are you guys talking about the same T-COM that i know...those pink laballed nerds??? If so, damn funny that you guys from somewhere use Telekom .. (it's the german AOL )
Yes,theyre the one,but dont get me wrong, noone has a choice here, there are alternative providers but T-com holds the monopol and the property of the infrastructure which hes renting to other providers. In short, every provider who wants to offer internet services has to go thru t-com's infrastructure and pay them a fee for using their cables.Thats why we have such crap internet speeds and prices in cro,but have no fear, some alternative providers have built/are still building their own infrastructure and we should have better times coming very soon...
rena,i know what ur talking about. The other day i had 50% packet loss...
True. They are expensive.. i have that T American Express credit card so i have a discount on all my phone and internet bills.
