steel have just emailed me saying that the pad is only 5mm thick and you dont need mouseskatez, but people prefer them. i think its worth gettin this pad though,ill let you know what i think of it, plus mouseskatez only cost pennies if you do want to use them...

i can hardly imagine myself wearing out a func 1030 archetype .. since it has hardplastic bottom.. besides i dont have 0.000000001 in sens as everyone else.. i have 16 which means i dont swing my mouse allover a 5 meter table as all you morons do Big grin

but yea ive thought about skatez but honestly i dont think i need them,
since ive tried 518 with 1030 before.. and i cant imagine a more perfect glide.

So by Steels sayings,if I had a mousepad rugged like a hedgehogs back but it was only 5 mm thick,I wouldnt need mousskatez? Big LOL Laughing And here mousskatez dont cost pennies,beelieve me.

lol ratz, what are you smokin...i was concerned about the thickness of it, cus it has 5 layers, that it would be like 2cm thick which is way too much....get a huge engraving in your arm Big grin lol and yaaaah mouseskatez £4.99 to kit out 2 mice, £2.50 per set IS pennies Big grin

@ Dark: I heard many reports here from croatian gamers that their 1030's got worned out after some while...

I have a 1030 too...
The pad has two sides, one is smooth and one is rough.
The rough one I can imagine could be worn out.
I never used that side Happy
