@PSY...so,you play Halo ...I bet you are a good n00b as in q3 ;] .3 years ago ,when Halo released for PCs I took the 6th place at a tournament in Athens,even though I did not play it on multiplayer ^^ .I got beaten by an X-Box user ;P.It was q3 that helped me improve skills on fps games hahaha .
you maybe played against Marie? She is very talanted and won alot of contest. I would like to see you beat her bcs she claims to be the best playah Haha And hate to loose. ( I have a picture of bruises on my arm caused by her i would post, but i think moderator dont like me to post snuff-pictures XD so i rather not )
She had me started play halo on the relase, and she is omfg.. hate to say this cos i know she will laugh her ass of malicious pleasure. But she pwns me in halo. Its thx to her i got my skills in H1 so if some ppl think my gameplay is girly.. well there you got the reason why
I started to play excessiveplus later, but in general i've never been playing quake3 that much so i ever can turn good. I've been playing quake3 e+ very much at the moment, but for a while i had a time of inactivity where i played halo 2 alot. After that i resume playing excessiveplus so lately it have been lots of quake3 e+ gaming.
But now im waiting for halo 3 And i hope i've learnd some skills from quake that can help me, owning her.
Bcos when marie is haugty my egoism gets a blow. Damn girl Hehe
Haha yup. Ok a 1on1 can be aranged
Its on! ITS ON!
But mind this: if you win, i've been promissed a "turbotutte" which in english means a tittietwist. You dont want your old pal psy to get hurt wudd ya?
Peace
I'm currently more or less inactive but drop me a pm if you want to give it another try, the life of a newbie can indeed be pretty hard...but I think you would like the game if you gave it another try. A-holes are found on every server, especially on Rookguard (lvl 1 - 8 ) where it's pretty much eat or be eaten...but there are always friendly people around and the mainland is a different thing, especially on premium side areas. If you give another go at it I would recommend starting an older server (Antica, Nova, or perhaps Amera) or a non-PvP server where there are TONS of extremely helpful oldskoolers. If you decide to start I can hook you up with some equipment or ask some friends help you out (depending on which server).
Well, it's not that i installed the game, got killed, and said "fuck this". I actually managed to reach level 23 before i finally got really tired of it. Hm, if i remember correctly, i started off on Arcania. It was not so bad at first, aside from the occasional bored high-leveler who just thought it would be funny to kill a couple of noobs. But the higher level i got, the tougher simple survival became.
What really got me is how you can grind mobs for several hours non-stop, and then lose everything just because you happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. :E I mean, i liked the game, i really did, but spending an hour just finding a place where i can kill a few creatures without somone jumping out of the bushes shouting "GTFO or hunt!" is not really my cup of tea.
However, if i ever feel the urge to play again, i'll be sure to give you a holler.
why play anything else?
wow wow wow wow
ok some fps's too
Aah liero is an old style classicer, Try it out.
And this is Liero extrem wich support lan, and multiplayer etc.

I see, joining in guilds or complaining on forums is a way to solve these things but to have grit and carry on taking xp is what I would recommend. This will become easier and easier the more you know the game, find secret hunt-spots with few people hunting there etc and after a while of playing you'll be able to make a 50-ish mage in a month (or a week if you have supplies ). Generally I would say talk to people is a good tactic, make friends in GC (game chat), on the forums and don't be shy to ask for help.
Usually PA (power abuse) is frowned upon and most servers have high-leveled guilds running a sort of a police service for free. These things most of the time work better on older servers, but there are always exceptions (Isara is fairly old and is basically the wild west).
Tibias death penalty system is what makes it stand out from the rest, WoW is crap compared to tibia. Tibia is the real deal, since the penalty is so high when dieing it makes it possible for guilds to actually gain control over servers, claim an area theirs and collect hunting taxes....the possibilites are endless. Most ruling guilds try to find a way to co-exist with eachoter and make the community prosper (hunting services, newbie help, quest services etc) but occasionally theres that all out war
@psy
I remember skipping school to go to my friends and play leyro multiplayer Oh the sweet memories.

@General
I really find q3 and e+ mod really addictive and its gameplay rocks due to its physics and its fast gameplay.
Games such as UT2004 have great features and graphics,genious modes (such as onslaught) but I still find q3 far better.Even though it is quite old.
