Cheers Frank, that's a really nice, elaborate explanation. To be perfectly honest, that saying confuses me as well when i seriously consider the word for word meaning. I can see how it could be seen as a negative to someone not familiar with it.

That's true, but the implied meaning is positive. It's all contextual but still, maybe i really should have used different words to express myself - i don't think they are exceptionally good, but i do feel they are solid. I don't believe in sugar coating and overblown complimenting, so me saying "solid" is actually a compliment.

Let me put it like this - Counter-Strike is a much more popular mod than E+. It's commercially viable and extremely popular, yet i'm sure most people here would agree (despite my history and attitude towards it, i'm one of those people as well) that E+ is actually a better mod.

Alright, enough off-topic from me. If this thing goes through, i'd love if the design was a throwback to the old one, of course tailor fit to the current layout, maybe with some small adjustments. I think it would be a nice compromise between the then and the now. Peace.

I think this website might need a tighter integration with social media platforms.

Though Crysis has very good design, but the "main portal" that excessiveplus.net is should stay as simple as possible. Could Crysis's time and talent be spent on project around this portal (pickup stated earlier is, as far as I am concerned, very interesting and should be explored).

Franks Idea is good, and that is what we really are talking about! its to make a whole new template for the site since changing the header would only make it look like if the site changed status.
