As you said I will say, I am not sure how things go there at your culture, but here, even in general, marriage is never based on material things.. it usually is ("always" to say unless things are different from culture to another) usually are based on spirituality.. because who ever cares about the physical side, they go out for illegitimate fun.. (not marriage!)

But marriage would certainly solve the physical side as well!

I would tell you a bit about how things go at our culture here, in the past it was more strict.. never two people marry unless there was kind of feeling (love with at least one of it's extensions" keeping in mind that love is a great word! and would take a lot to discuss and cover.. recently it happens a bit, very very rare that people marry because they like each other sexually because it is not usually to happen that way (no sex before marriage here) which I guess how it goes at your culture according to what you probably tried to refer to as..

Or maybe you were to say that women would marry men for money and life privileges, this would call me to finish my statement I started and couldn't cover before cause of time,

A woman could possibly ask for the whole planet earth, but she would still be caring about a faithful truthful heart.. but as a woman, she would need to know if she can trust the man, and is he a serious good man with a faithful truthful heart or not..... etc

Also would add to that, that some day you will find a woman which is good enough to make you change the idea about marriage and fake love.. as long as you are good enough yourself to deserve a good woman like you! because good pure hearted women are for good men, and bad ugly hearted women are for bad men! it is an absolute theory but would also write a book if we care to cover too.
