The Smash Brothers

Hey,
I found this amazing documentary and i thought I'd share it with you. Every part is worth watching imo, full of interesting personalities and history of an awesome game/community. Reminded me of the E+ Community in some aspects. Very few dedicated players having fun Happy

Re: The Smash Brothers

I love it!! those so many episodes and the production, wow.

As a game it resembles in e+ to the gameplay of an old server where i used to watch ppl compete and me get pwned in old days called: The BFG Station (and there was another one called Retro Station). those double-triple BFG air shots memories (jeez Louise Mamma Please).

Why we didn't thought to document stuffs happening in the e+ history.
It reminds me too of some episodes in e+ history haha Big grin
Thanks for sharing, rly awesome.

Re: The Smash Brothers

nether do u think u can compete with those guys?^^ if so, im really
impressed, i had no idea what was possible in this game. last time i
played it (on 64) is only a few months ago and i got raped hard Winking

epsi i see you feel the same as i did when i saw this docu Big grin i think the main problem is that we aren't a national thing but spread all over the world, hard to follow some key players or sth.. and also we never met for tourneys Sad we should, tho

Re: The Smash Brothers

Well I got a lil bit rusty lately but played all the versions till Brawl. I used to master all those "secondary moves" like the wave dash and could play in very hard mode without reaching 30% damages by games and using only one live. Dunno if it means I could compete with those monster pro players just by looking at them playing though, that's why I say those tournaments look interesting, I wish I could try !

WTF this is noob game, I played it on 360 with friends if I remember right (I don't have any game console). People just play this by hitting randomly buttons (like every game console players in general), it's easy to win.

First, this is a nintendo game so you saying it's on 360 shows how much you know the game series xD !Second, most fighting games can be mastered by hitting randomly, this is made in order to be played by new players at first touch, doesn't mean you can't play it in a more technical way.
So please, do me a favour dude, when you don't know something, don't spit on it, even if it's your habits to be so pissed against the whole world. Winking

However even in tetris/soliter, there are technical styles on how to play the game. It's about having The skill, not about the win. Sad to see you didn't understood it from e+ yet.

Re: The Smash Brothers

Never been a big fan of this game (series). I got it on my wii, but i assumed its too easy, because there is no special moves, techniques and all the stuff that i find in mortal Kombat or tekken.Btw i play tekken tag tournament 2 on ps3, anyone interested in trening up with me? Also can try playing smash bros on wii, but not sure if it supports online.
