Quake Live videos, my default setup?

Hi,

I made a video on Quake Live, which would be my default settings if there is no problems or errors about it.
For this, I would like you criticize this video. Thanks for answers.

Very nice tanaka.

Nice movement although not completly rock solid. 8/10 movement

Your actaul combat skills are what keeps you alive here. 8/10 combat and aim

The thing that exposes you the most and i saw you did repeatable is your enermy most of the time "jumped you" first giving them a advantage however your combat skills were better so most of the time you won. 6/10 tactics

edit: oh lol you meant the video quality. well in this case you get youself critizised as well. :\

anyways the video seems fine. One thing you can do is if you rendering with sony vegas it puts on automatic frame re-sampling which if you turn if off makes everything clearer.
here is a tut on how to do it http://getasmarttv.com/sony-vegas-how-to-clean-re-sample-your-frame-rate-tutorial

Even if I was talking about the video, thanks for information, I'll care
about assault from upside, but sometimes I find difficult to clearly
spot the enemy with the sound...especially with the floor differences.

I checked if I let the software resampling my clips, and I had smart
resampling everywhere Worried Damn, thanks for told me this tip, next videos
should be more clear with it. Happy

Too much blur, I find too Worried I'm trying to get this blur effect, which
shows really good the speed increment :

I will try to put less blur and to change the blur mode, for the next time. Thank you for commenting.

I recorded it as "stereo mix". Not from speakers device but from
soundcard output you know. I use a 7.1 headset so the equalizer and the
sound separation might be different from a 2.0 headset. You are maybe
talking about this. I didn't expect that, thanks for the information.

Hey buddy,

pretty solid work Happy

As for my taste of fragmovies, I dislike only LG-trail-wall-marks [sorry, dunno how it is named exactly but I believe you know what I mean) and rocket effect, I find it as completely unnecessarly.

The very rest is fine! The fineness of the game could be better too, but that's the case of experience Winking Timing - not that bad tho, but work on it, also remember about YA : - )

Ah, just remembered about the sound quality - it's awesome on my headphones, sounds really nice.

Cheers!

7/10

Hi!

So the rocket trail and the marks on wall done by lightning gun are useless...maybe I should use just a better smoke trail for the rocket and remove the marks on walls done by the lightning gun...

I totally avoid yellow armor because I focus on Mega Health first, and next to this, the Red Armor. I go to pick the yellow armor only if I don't have the map control. I recognize my tactics are totally noobish, this is because I have a huge lack of dueling skill. I must practise it Happy

I'm happy my sound settings fit to yours, in fact I really don't know how to make it completely neutral.

Thanks!

Map control requires taking YA's too, work on it, don't waste any YA's, don't underestimate them Tongue

It's a pak I downloaded specially for Wolfcam QL. Weapon skins are not included in fx script files.
Fro Q3MME I use metal-tech v2.0 weapon skins.
