3D laptop Sony Vaio VPCF21Z1E/BI VS Alienware M18X
Hi guys, I know that I have been assaulting you with
opinions, but this is really important to me. I am really undecided between the
Alienware M18x and the Sony Vaio VPCF21Z1E/BI. Mainly, I want a desktop for
gaming (though I’m not sure how many games I will play), with a big screen and
that looks nice.
First, let me disappoint some of you maybe and tell you I
don’t like the way Alienware look, but the Sony looks absolutely amazing.
Professional, neat, of good taste. Alienware makes me think it’s made for kids.
Here is what the main differences that matter for me are:
Screen: Sony / Alienware: 16 vs. 18 inches
Video: Sony / Alienware: GeForce GT 540M/ GeForce GT 460M
Price: Sony is $1630, Alienware is $2100.
Fan noise: For me silence is golden. I hear that Sony has a very quiet fan, while Alienware being
a gaming laptop, would of course have a bit more noise.
I will not use the laptop’s keyboard and I would like to use mine. This is a problem though, for I will not like the screen to be too far from me and that’s the reason I would’ve wanted a bigger one.
1. Please let me know guys if there is a way I could have my laptop closest to me, using my own wireless keyboard (maybe there is a special stand or something).
2. Can I play the latest games with the 540M and at what details? Please mention of any lag if you know.
That’s it guys, thanks once again for your support and I eagerly await your opinions!

Fact I'm no quake god and couldn't prove it and evenbalance was not too fast on solving this, made me quit struggling for an answer. Life is more than just q3. I just accepted it, even though it was unfair. As for you, go back to the hole of sadness you've crawled out from and at least spend this time posting useless stuff with your wife or anyone deserving it.
Thanks for the answers, but I need a laptop. And btw miguelito This is Sony's latest laptop and I dug a lot for it, so it should perform well enough in games like Crysis as well (which I am not fond of anyway).
