Those "@" affixes have always made me chuckle. They're nothing but excuses people use when they want to justify not being on top of their game. It's kinda like saying "HEY GUYS LOOK LOOK I'M PLAYING SHIT BUT I'M DRUNK, STONED, ON A SHITTY LAPTOP AND WITHOUT AN ARM SO IT'S OKAY LOLOL". Hell, even i used that shit once or twice, in a moment of weakness.

I wouldn't go too far with making a fuss about it, though. Far as i know, it's been in use for years, it's kind of like a tradition around here, same as fakenicking. You should know Gom, you ain't here since yesterday. It's just a quirky little thing people here like to do, i wouldn't overanalyze it to the point of saying it gives a bad example to kids (what kids, lol) or that it promotes the use of harmful substances. All they are is excuses, stemming from an overwhelming sense of self-awarness, so common in ego games like Quake.

It is a social thing. I personally admire people who can summon the will to steer clear of *any* harmful vices. It's a sign of strong character, and i respect that.

However, we live in a culture of rebellious youth, who do stupid shit because they can. It's silly to assume kids would think it's cool to smoke and drink from playing a video game - all they have to do to learn that is go to school or walk down the street.

Its just annoying, this ignorant behaviour is spreading due to the fact that everybody is doing it lol.

What saddens me the most is that older folks practice this the most, and when you mix it with a social by product that is shoved into our minds by quake\e+\internet you end up with a mental mush, in witch people with rail accuracy are without any doubt right and noobs are wrong.

Its ridiculous, its all mush, today its not a party if you ain't drunk and it wasn't worth shit if it isn't showed to and acknowledged by bunch of random people.

Most of people on this site like to advertise their state of being drunk, and we are talking about older guys, and nobody is ever judgmental towards them in fact allot of people support it, so why not use the word drunk\hangover while I take my daily fix of q3 cuz at the moment I suck at it.

Unlike before i hate THOSE KIND of fakenickers, would gladly punch them in the face with a blunt object.

Most of us playing q3 arround 5h per days. That's also call addiction.
i'm an old drugged guys, i know what is addiction, i told you, the worst is alcool, coz it's legal.
E+ is a community, some of important/active members are addicted, they konw each other, they share joy, bad, and.... drunk/drug attitude.
E+ is'nt comparable to facebook. E+ is a big "familly" some of us are here from the beginning arrond 7 or 8 years.

Means parents lets childrens play this type of video game.... yeah welcome to real world of some fucking inconsient parents let playing kid. That just parents fault.
Q3 e+ is violent, Q3 e+ is agressive, Q3 e+ can be hurt some childrens who haven't some kind of jugement. It's parents jobs to learns this to childrens.
