Hey all i recently did not no how to make cfg files for severs. i decided upon learning how to and my result is at the bottom for you to download and probably find errors with xd but considering this is my first one i hope you be kind Tongue.

Anyways i will talk you thru the main features of the game settings. Firstly the most odd thing you should notice is one of the weapons is limited with ammo and does not regen this is the rocket launcher. i have design this config with a different take on some weapons and drew sources from unreal and the way weapons work in real life.

Anyways back to the rocket launcher i made it abit like the redeemer in unreal tournament however its no where near as powerful so i have included the availability of more shots which can be stocked up throughout the map (max 4 shots but you start with 2). i have done this because this i intend to be the most powerful weapon you can use (homing factor of 0.3, increase damage radius, etc.)

The lighting gun i have completely taken away the ability of killing anything with it. however i turned the weapon into an extra game movement mechanic which the game did not already have. its effectively a dodge. try running in a direction you want to dodge then pressing fire to perform it. you can also couple this with a jump to give the player a more controllable (with practice) and instant form of getting a boost of speed for flying.

I have swapped around the shotgun and the machine gun for there use so the machine gun now is effectively a close range Uzi and the shotgun in more like a longer range double barrel shotgun you find in real life (of which ive used a 12 bore and they can be quite accurate).

The bfg is much the same except it deals less damage and so cant be as spammer-able.
The railgun is much the same as normal it deals 600 and is normally insta, it has a cycle of 2000 so get ready to actually fire then run away if you cant aim. (health soft 300 health hard 900 health rot 600).

The grenade launcher is now the major spam weapon as it fires far and fast however don't expect it to kill much as its harder to aim and the damage is not a great deal. it has the same self knock-back and normal knock back so can be used for moment (so use it for dislodging opponents).

Plasma-gun fires very very very fast and slows the enemy down (so prolly useful in ctf) but does not do great amount of damage. (its like halo D: )

As i wanted one weapon to be the power weapon (rocket launcher) i made all the other-ones deliberately less powerful but still useful in a situation these all have regen ammo apart from the rocket launcher which you must find.

The reason i wanted a power weapon is too provide that feeling of potential power instead of just making every weapon balanced. however it balances anyways as you got to manually get your ammo.

hmm i think thats about all feel free to critic *cough* complain at me *cough* Laughing and ask questions.

PS: i will no doubt be updating this as it is probably horrible wrong in a few areas (but dont forget what kind of cfg im try to make.

Pss: i don't want the lg to switch to bfg after dodging i want it to switch to gantlet is their away or making the switch order different (explain to me like i'm a noob because i am)

Psss: I think the weapon timings could be alot better but i got confused i will relearn and update later.

Interesting, fresh and different from all i've seen here.

I have it currently uploaded on kids games (for testing) however not part of the rotation. but i think it can be callvoted in. If im there i can also set it as ref. btw make sure to test it on a map which does have rocket launcher ammo/weapon.
