Annoying pop-up. Need help pls.

Ok since a couple of days i get this very annoying pop-up each time i try to download smth using Firefox. I attached the following screenshots.

I have to click on either Cancel or Continue several times in order to start downloading. Then when the download is finished i have to click again a couple of times on Cancel or Continue. It seems like it's trying to save it as default in "A:", the floppy disk drive. I tried changing the default download location in Firefox, no success...

Anyone got any ideas?

this is for sure pop-up? maybe got error from windows os, about this HDD ?

it is not a pop-up, pop-up if u know what i mean. I just get that whenever i try to download smth and when i hit the "save as" i get that. It's trying to save it on the floppy disk drive for some unknown reason. I just have to click cancel several times then it saves it wherever i want to but it's annoying...

when u begin dl, ur PC scan all drivers for free space to dl ur aplication, then ur PC find some problem with drive, u should check this in manager of disks, or u need format C:, only C:....

Or remove your floppy drive, either manually disconnect it, or turn it off in BIOS, maybe that'll help.

akro, i don't think what you suggested would help. Imo it's not scanning for nothing, for some reason it's trying to save it each time on A: that's all. That's why if I click on Cancel or Continue it will download it. Ill try reinstalling FF.

Does it happen with IE 2? If not,completely remove firefox,there are instructions on the net how to do a full removal and try the reinstalling part.Maybe u also got some buggy version.

maybe, in ff, you have set a default location to where all your files are saved to...in mine - i have it set to desktop cos its the most convinient...maybe you have it set to a:\(floppy) for some stupid reason... Big grin other than that i dont know...

i have the same location as you set, on desktop. So dunno why it's trying to save it in A:.
