autorecord cmd implementation
Hey !
I've been playing cpma/osp from the beginning of my q3 "career" and in these 2 mods, is a great cmd called : autorecord.
What <autorecord> does, is a record without the need of activating <g_synchronousplayes>, thus it's not inducing that "lag" and is more enjoyable to play.
so.. my question is :
Wouldn't be great if in e+ will be the <autorecord> command ?
When you activate <autorecord> in cpma/osp, it records as :
PLAYERNAME-OPPONENTSNAME-MAP-DATE-TIME.
Dude, there are like a hundred other cool features that could be well implemented in E+. Chill, i'm sure the + team is aware of the uberness of cpma (. Btw, next time you should post something like this in the "Suggestions" subforum.
What <autorecord> does, is a record without the need of activating <g_synchronousplayes>, thus it's not inducing that "lag" and is more enjoyable to play.
The following bind does pretty much the same:
[code:1]bind x "g_synchronousClients 1; record; g_synchronousClients 0;"[/code:1]
Your demos won't get the same fancy names though
Thanks, but everytime i wanna record, i have to specify a name for it so it will not be overwritten and that's annoying.
You didn't actually try it, right? It sets an auto name for the file
The thing you suggest already exists more or less. Live with it.
Madbringer..
Thanks for the suggestion about the Suggestion Section.
But... i've seen many things from osp in e+ : timeout, physics of cpma, uhm..what else... uhm.. dunno.
Anem..

i remain to the conclusion that autorecord is greater than record
Please,if an admin can move this topic to Suggestion Section.
P.S. : if i accidentally wrote your tags wrong, please excuse me, but the alch. stops me from seeing things the way they are.
LE : Yes, tartaros, you're right ! Sorry !
