Hi people! I love this mod! Here's my troubles... when scanning servers my ping usually is about 60 to 150 or so but when I log onto a game my ping goes through the roof 450 - 999. This is mainly on excessive servers. Two weeks ago I was able to play on samtheman's server at a 100 ping, now its between 500 - 999.

Settings; cl_maxpackets 100,rate 25000,snaps 30.

Is it me or the server?

try lower cl_maxpackets 20 ?

Hey kArByde...welcome to excessiveplus :mrgreen:

Keep in mind that many of the E+ servers are based in Germany & Sweden. The reason you were having good pings with SAMTHEMAN's server is because his server was based in Houston,Texas. That was excellent for the U.S. players

For me, the BRO servers seem to have the best connection for U.S. players. Yes there are a few U.S. server's but unfortunatly they are mostly dead :-({|=

Also keep in mind that weather has an effect on connection also, I live in in the eastern United States & I have been beaten by the last 3 hurricanes (the 4th is comming called Janine) 8-[

Try to tinker with your connection settings and make sure that you are not downloading from P2P programs during game play.

Thanks for replying so fast!

Sounds like it's maybe a combination of things. I'll try changing the max packets settings when I'm home from the salt mines.
