Ban? on Elitz servers? someone should tell them no to be se quick on judgements.
Wanna have a game as fast as q3? wanna play a game with heavy skilled players in there?
Take a look here :
No.I have a better solution, and an easy one : not play on your servers.
I wasnt a pussy, when i used to run 7 servers on E+.No wonder the community has turned gay like that.
didn't know you are that retarded.
Hey mad.how are you mate.it is been a long time.
Just in case you are wondering, kids.i am surely the oldest one of you guys : i am 42.And i have a kid, who is 10. i can afford to troll a little bit , so dont take me seriously. You may see me, or him , connecting on your servers, sometimes, so dont remember this thread, there will be a lot of other occasions to know wich nice guy i am.
Anyway, let us move on , Since i got this PC, i was wondering, beside q3 , what is the best games outthere,i would download a bunch of them,to keep them in handy.I saw battlefield 3, not that bad isnt it.i mean it is not q3 , but still.any suggestions ? i love gorgeous graphics and fast gameplays just as you do..
Oh shit: Casa is back (return of a legend), nice to see you dude!
In terms of popular online games, check your private messages, I've sent you a shootmania beta key+installation instructions for an online FPS game called Shootmania, it's the pinnacle of casual and fastpaced arena-based gaming at the moment, and the majority of the community is actually French at the moment due to being developed by a French Company. The beta only lasts for 30 days after activation (after which you can make up your mind whether you enjoy the game or not to buy it). There are 5 gametypes for it at the moment with different elements of personal and teamplay so have fun)
Also if only I saw you a week ago, I could have set you up with a beta key for Global Offensive (an in-browser Team Deathmatch game, where you can fully customize your character and weapons), but it went out of closed beta literally 5 days ago, so now beta invitation keys are not required ( I bet there was a bit of disappointment mid-sentence) you can just go to http://www.offensivecombat.com/, register and play. (this game is easy to pick up and I would imagine your son would enjoy it the most out of all the ones I listed here)
http://www.quakelive.com/ : another closed beta, but this is an older game which is dwindling in popularity but ClanArena gametype there is the closest to recapturing the spirit of Excessive (as you can see from your own experience, actual excessive isn't really worth playing anymore, it's just cool to catch up with old clanmates and such).
TeamFortress2 on steam is another free-to-play, class-based game, it's fun and cooky and public servers make it easy to pick up and understand, and probably has the largest player base out of all the games mentioned here. To install it, you Valve's steam is compulsory, however it's the best retailer for online games nowadays, and has some awesome sales in Summer and around the Christmas period (and a lot of demos and free2play games are there).
Another recent free2play game is BlackLight Retribution, similar to Global Offensive in its upgrade system, but slightly more realistic. http://blacklight.perfectworld.com
You also might want to check out League of Legends, a free-to-play MOBA game. It's also free and a good introductory point to other genres of games, and literally has millions of players playing ti daily. However, its popularity is also its downfall: it's a bit shit in comparison with its direct competitors (DotA 2 (defence of the ancients 2) and HoN (heroes of Newsomething). Link for LoL
As far as Battlefield/Call of Duty/Medal of Honour: deoending on how you look at it, they are either interesting casual games that are fun to play with friends (casual point of view), or soul-less Tactical real-world Halo clones that are completely shit for an experienced Deathmatch player.
Oh and there's a game called Minecraft with a few basic objectives and an enormous sandbox of a world where you are given complete creative control to build houses, mines, or whatever your heart desires (from castles and aeroplanes, to complete replicas of Spongebob's city or famous quake 3 maps such as Aerowalk or Q3DM6 )
So basically it's an online 3d compiler of virtual lego which could be quite good for your son as a learning experience in videogames, or a way to express himself creatively. (to further make up your mind, you can check out http://www.twitch.tv/directory and see what people are playing and whether or not you'd personally enjoy games
Hope that was a sufficient description for you and gave you some ideas what to try and it's nice to see you again!

i think something is missing from this game for me its not enjoyable for me also competitive graphics are really ugly
Addition: Tribes Ascend and Nexiuz could be checked out, but both, despite being less than 6 months old already have peaked their playerbases and are losing players.
Yadihaha, casa got banned, you shouldnt have been a bad boy mr blanca, what was you thinking eh?
And I told you mate, come play TF2 if you want some good competitive action.
By the way, wassup all you oldfags.
Mad dog is out!
