I think it was just a nice error)))some time ago we were playing on beer. It was map 7++, next should be ospra3map1.When the map have changed, all players started to play new map.. all.... except me xD
yes its funny)) q3 downloaded next map ospra3map, but i stay at previous map. and not IN map.... I stay outside map)))

The speciality was that i couldn't move, only in one place jump) I could shot, spec)) i saw 7++ out of its bounds. I could spec other players and it was so funny))) cause they were jumping, moving and shooting through 7++ map's walls XDDDDDDDDDD really cheaters XDI tried to write demo... but it shows like i was on ospra3map1 ))))) but screens)))))) shows another)

@ lala: this is not the first time i see this behavior .. i remember some1 posted something like this before. this is a bug of somekind..
actualy what happend is that you are ON ospra but you don't know it (its true that if you tried to go forward you got into "invisible walls"?) ... and what you see is the old map. i think there is a point where the game dosn't flush the old map from memory .. and that's happen when the map is loaded... i think.
a dev pls?
this happens very rare but it does..

interesting that i never expirienced it, if you guys are sure your ram is ok, i think the problem is somewhere with a broken pk3 in ur baseq3 folder.

this happened to me also a couple of times, but just when i had bad lag and slided along the wall.

yep strange things happens...i can only play ok with ping 100 on beer only at morning...later at night is 190....
