Maybe like Ratz getting 50% acc with gauntlet? Anyway I have no idea how it all works. Like what counts, direct hit, or splash from the "real" bfg, or the grenades that comes out of it...? :scratch:

I would guess that gauntlet misses are proximity measured. You can "bzz bzz" it when no one is around and the game won't count it as "shooting". But when another player is close enough, it counts it as shooting. At least that's what i observed, maybe i'll put the theory to test with bots later today.

As for BFG i'd guess it's not the splash but the grenades it spits out when exploding. Looks like a bug, more or less tho.
