hm .... I don´t see here any topic about books .... Happy

What is your favourite book?
Who is your favourite writer?

For me best book I ever read is Alexander Dumas´s book Les Trois Mousquetaires .... it is absolutly wonderful to read this! He also has many other fantastic books. He is my absolutly favourite writer.

And my favourite writer from our ages is Jeffery Deaver, his most known book is The bone collector, which has been filmed.

When the priest comes to read me the last rites
I take a look through the bars at the last sights
Of a world that has gone very wrong for me
Can it be there's been some sort of an error
Hard to stop the surmounting terror
Is it really the end not some crazy dream
Somebody please tell me that I'm dreaming
It's not easy to stop from screaming
But words escape me when I try to speak
Tears they flow but why am I crying
After all am I not afraid of dying
Don't believe that there never is an end

mine favorite book is harry potter Tongue and writer j.k rowling Tongue
dan brown is also one of my favorist and maria demarque if i speel it correctly Big grin

hmm i like Paulo Coelho, especially "the alchemist" and "eleven minutes"
further i enjoyed reading "the da vinci core" and "illuminati" by dan brown a lot and i also like j.k.rowling with her harry potter parts Tongue started reading them as a kid and it was a great experience then!

I wanted to put a bullet between the eyes of every penguin that didnt wanna screw to save its species.

I agree with J. K. but not with Dan Brown - his writing style is boring for me .... Anyway I think his book Angels and Demons or how is named is better than Davinci´s code

And I disremembered Stephen King, he is great too.

I do not read many books but I really enjoy writers such as H.P.Lovecraft and Oscar Derleth.Especially Cthulhu Mythos is my favorite .I try to buy books with additional info for this mythology etc...

I've also read the Hobbit and some parts of Silamrilion of J.R.R.Tolkien but not the Lotr series...I just watched them on screen Big grin

hmmm...and sometimes I read e-books with poems.Sarah Teasdale's poem collection is one of my favorites.

Russian classics is absolute adorable. I read most of them when I was in gymnasuim. Last Russian classic book which I read 1991 was "War and Peace" - awesome book. Personally I like most Scholohov style.

When I was kid I read a lot Karl May books. Great imagination. Winetou. I read whole serial of him "Trough desert", have about 10 fat books Big grin

I have in my own collection all three parts of Winetou, and read it them at least 5 times. That books bring me in childhood.

I have in my DVD collection All 6 "Star Wars", all 3 Matrix, all 4 "The 8. th passenger alien", all of three "Lord of the rings"... I watch them eventualy after past some time and when I forgot details...

hmm i very like our polish writer 'Jacek Piekara' and him book series about inquisitor Mordimer Madderdin

i didnt read yet last one but im planing buy it soon Happy

Ive not really read much books, But my fav would have to be the discworld collection by write Terry Pratchett. So funny like a piss take of lotr Big grin

I also very much enjoyed a book called My side of the mountain but I cant remember who wrote it.

No it isn´t Happy Angels and deamons has been years before Davinci code Happy
