From the sheer amount of borg servers ban whine i've seen, i conclude that Borg, are in fact, the Quake equivalent of Alexander Lukashenko's stance on human rights and free journalism.

I meant that, either, BORG servers are subject to an abnormal abundance of undesirable characters, or their admins are touchy, over-reacting twats. Or maybe a combination of both, haha.

I've heard many bad things on this Borg CTF server ... and i don't get why ppl still wanna play there ? i'm not a ctf player but still if you don't like it and there is no other CTF server then let CTF die! simple

Just because some bunch of ppl are arrogant and unjust that doesn't mean ppl have to beg or whatever .. right ?

I'm not taking accurun's part i'm speaking generally because of other cases of admin-insanity.

good luck to the players not in Borg team that didn't already received a ban on Borg CTF server.

The new generation of admins on Borg seems to be way more mature than back in time when Taras was still active. At least thats my impression. Bans appear pretty reasonable actually.

just can agree here... I hear ppl whining about the server so often...
there are many empty CTF servers around... the banned players just need to play there for a while... but usually noone wants to be first quite a dilemma^^

Tho Im having no probs with Borg admins at all, I still dislike the server. Mainly due to cfg and actually because it still runs 1.03.
Thats why Im hardly playing there... on 2.0 the JDS server is busy more often lately. Retro servers have some funny noob bashing as well...
So there are plenty alternatives, stop whining kids... go help yourself
