Cant bind NUMPAD 8
I have played on the numpad for as long as i can remember when playing quake. However Quake now decides it doesn't want to recognize numpad 8 which would be my forward button. The numpad works outside of quake but the game and the options menu for binds doesn't recognize it. Its like it doesn't exist. the rest of my numpad works fine.
I have checked my q3 config and even reset it a few times to check but n avail. Could this be a hardware issue.. but then why does it work outside quake?
Have u tried binding to it as kp_8? Just a guess, not sure what those keys are identified as

yes. Trouble is quake doesn't even see it as a key even if i bind it. as if my keyboard was unplugged and yes Ive tried unplugging and plugin it in again . its just weird because it works outside of quake. i don't understand. maybe i should just completely reinstall quake.
