Pfft that was one fact that wasn't right, you don't have to flip out.

And because PB can't run on your server is telling you that your CPU isn't powerful enough to run it. Ffs, my facts are right, your CPU isn't powerful enough to run PB

Okey how come my CPU load is 5-20% MAX? How come my CPU load dosent change when i turned PB off? The server just started working fine. How come Q3 wont use my CPU to 100%?
Dose Q3 have like a detector that detects that my CPU is so slow it wont even use it? Cus thats like what your sayng.

And btw, im not mad at allt im rather laughing, but to make those statements that you made i think you better be sure of what you are talking about.
But I dont really care, its just that other ppl might belive you. And go to the store to buy a P4 just cus you said that Q3 wont run on a P2. BUT IT DOSE. And it dose it fine.

Hardware is what i live for, so plz dont argue with me on this.

@Skull - Shock No. Back when i had 1gb ram i didn't had any probs with setting it to 128 and above. Dunno wtf man. :scratch:

I never said q3 won't run on a Pentium 2. Maybe you didn't understand what I was saying. If you run a server on a computer that isn't very good, it is going to lag.

Answer this question for me, why can't you run punkbuster on your server but others can? The reason is because Punk Buster uses more resourses on the computer's hardware.

My server uses 5 - 20% of my CPU, I don't think the CPU effects how much the server uses.

· Dual AMD 244/246
· RAID 5 Storage
· 4 gigs of RAM

Why do you think they have so much ram and a dual CPU?

First off you did just answer it yourselfe. And second how come i got LOADS of resources left over that the server wont use? Is it like a limit in the Q3-server code that says sumtin like "use 20% of the system capability"?
I think not. You say my pc is too slow but it wont use even half of my systems power. Explain that plz.

Explain why it runs flawless now plz. When i turened the PB off i got no more free ram and not less load on the CPU. And it runs like i said flawless.
If my system would be too slow the cpu would be at 100% (at the most of the time) and i would have no free ram at all. But now i got like 70-80% CPU power thats just not to any use and about 100Mb free RAM. Why wont the Q3 server use that RAM and CPU if it needs more as you say.
