Cheater report discussion
Well yeah, keep on banning ip-ranges until you can't get new players anymore. gg
Skullhead seriously...you're saying smth similar with "all germans are nazis"...
Why not ban a whole country next time?
my problem is, that such mobile ips, which wont be banned give u an infinitive trial of cheats.
u can try one cheat after another, what is on one side unacceptable and on the other just fair to the ones who dont cheat on that connection.
I think an overreaction is an understatement to say the least.
The number of cheaters within the mod has dropped dramaticly in the last 18 months. they have moved to newer games with a lot more bodies to annoy. the vast majority of people who play on e+ are dedicated to teh game and play it for the challenge, now and again a cheater comes along with an obvious wh/bot and whotnot.
cheating is not a big issue and certainly not worth banning that whole ip range (65536 people)
well I deleted big peace of my ban list, all old bans are removed, cuz there was too many bans on it and banlist was not working
I dont ban IP range such 89.228....
As I suppose 'syndycate'=Wrobel
same ip 89.228.......
and here proof:
[code:1] 9 : :)^7 ^7:(^7(3), ^7WROBEL*MP3(3), syndycate@BadDay^7(3)[/code:1]
i got also demo with him but its very long and where u can see that he change nick to wrobel*mp3, but i dont know for 100% that he cheat but i give him at start 50% possibility that he using smth cuz he is know as a ex cheater, so he can still using smth, btw I enabled pb at aim freeze wehre he was playing and he got kicked by 'pb init failure' and he said that he got pb enabled on client side, maybe his cheat program automatically disabled his pb for that situations to dont detect it.
wrote:he doesnt got a guid, so block people who dont have a guid gonna be out.
btw, new ip:
89.178.7.211
Well... i will clean my banlist...i dunno his provider so i will not ban IP-range...
maybe only banning name, even if it's quite useless
I saw Syndicate play twice on beer, once with 70+ rail acc with plenty good players around, the other as a teamshooting-for-thaws noob. In the demo it is clear that he uses autoshoot.
With autoshoot cheaters need to aim a bit themself, but it is noticable that they don't aim for a kill, but to get their crosshair moving across enemies. It's harder to spot, unless you count /stats on an unknown player that shows very high acc, and it can take time to see them obviously cheat to get a kill (like butterfly motion with crosshair around enemy at distance). But in the end, one can not play well in an annatural way without cheating.
Ban by ip-range only as a last resort, when the cheater is too disruptive and keeps coming back. I doubt this is the case with Syndicate.

I thaught it was kinda strange to he railed from very strange postions.i mean that happens but not that frequently.do you have a demo or something?
