When somebody report a cheater I search him in logs, and manually add to banlist

how is this even possible: this guy was banned 4 times with the same ip,same guid,but he still was able to reconnect?? I have 4 separate bans by skull in the bans.txt !?

I solved simillar or same problem by reducing the banlist
Banlist have limits, when you reach that ur ban list is uselles, not working at all.

it may be also a problem if u copy/pasted bans from somewhere else and u did not make it right. A missing } or { does fuck up ur whole banlist. Just test to ban urself. If u can reconnect, u have such an mistake.
About size of bans.txt, in old time i had a banlist of more than 150 bans, and it did still work.<
