Well, i would prefer anyway, to close plus.cfg forever. There are new configs, better ones, some with development. i0 is good as well as m0ve or edawn. I can play all 3 configs, withoug changing my gameplay too much.

Everyone, Jason Voorhes, his real name, xtreeme/rus, Deviant of Borg, last 8 posts was Jason Voorhes. He fakenames and hails russia. He's a racist and has some radar hack. Just range ban him.

maybe a little off topic but one big ass problem is the amount of admins that hand out recon. Servers get crowed and all of a sudden punk buster gets disabled.
Those of you might not like PB but without it, I don't trust the server. Deex Freeze randomly going from PB on to disabled blows, and for a server as frequented as it is, it should be ON! ON! ON!
I played tonight for few hours and all sorts of odd things were happening.
Then low and behold, I did pb_cvarlist and I get PB is currently disabled.
Admins, control your recon, and leave the damn cheat protection on.

deex freeze got pb on and off by contrab, not by rcon as far as admins say.
and a lot of server are emptied when pb on, people complain it would lag
from my side, im up for pb and it doesnt lag me though my pc isnt that fast.

unfortunately the first 3-5 minutes joining a pb server lags like crazy (for me anyway) most people want to join a server and play immediately.

crontab enabling punkbuster or not, it makes no sense and it opens the window for cheaters.
As far as lag is concerned. My average ping is about 98 or so and usually with some packet loss. If a server is "too laggy with punkbuster enabled or laggy in general" . Do the rest of the players a service and don't join.
It's nice when players have a really great ping and it gets swamped by dopes with 300 pings and 30% packetloss. Anyhow that's another issue.
