I just had a flashy idea when I saw that everybody said hi to firefox, and she had always to say back. So why not writing a script with all names included. Here is it. This script is more made to keep a smiley on ppl's face. It seems a bit complicated for daily use. But its quite nice anywayz.

// HOW DO I INSTALL IT??
1. Unzip it and copy the folder clandb and the file config-name.cfg into your baseq3 folder
2. type /exec config-name in your console

// HOW DO I USE IT??
I binded following keys on the NUMPAD 8,4,5,6
8 - switching between groups sorted by clan
4,6 - switch between names of this group
5 - send hello message
So you see its quite simple

Well first of all a thx would be nice xD
As I wrote this script just with KO and 2!Sweet members included it would be nice if every clan could create a clanmember file. So this script can be extended and every person will be included.

So here comes the tutorial how you can create your own clan file.

OPEN config-name.cfg

SEARCH

exec "clandb/config-name_hq.cfg"

AFTER ADD

exec "clandb/config-name_YOURCLANNAME.cfg"
[/code:1]
Then modify your personal menue, that means what clans/name groups do you want to have. Be carefully at this step as you can make many mistakes here

set nametype2s "vstr 2s_1; set namecycleup vstr 2s-cycleup; set namecycledn vstr 2s-cycledn; set nametype vstr nametypehq"

AFTER ADD

• the red marked areas "2s" have to be replaced with your clan name e.g.: ed, drt, or what ever your clan name in short letters is
• the yellow marked area "hq" has to be the clan name in short letters which has to be appear as next in your menue, if the clan you added should be the last one in your menue set it to the FIRST clan in your menue

set nametype2s "vstr 2s_1; set namecycleup vstr 2s-cycleup; set namecycledn vstr 2s-cycledn; set nametype vstr nametypehq"

AFTER ADD

SAVE AND CLOSE "config-name.cfg"

SELECT "clandb/config-name_2s.cfg" AND COPY IT

• the red marked areas "YOUR CLANTAG IN SHORT" has to be replaced with your clan name e.g.: ed, drt, or what ever your clan name in short letters is

RENAME COPIED FILE INTO "config-name_YOURCLANTAG IN SHORT.cfg"

OPEN "/clandb/config-name_YOURCLANTAG" (the file you just copied and renamed)

Every Editor supports the feature "FIND" and "REPLACE ALL WITH" so I would recommend you to use it, as it spares you a lot of time.

FIND ALL

AND REPLACE THEM WITH
[code:1]YOURCLANTAG[/code:1]
CHANGE THE NAMES

as this step seems also a bit complicated here is an example:

set hq_2 "echo ^7H^2Q ^7* ^2K^7O; set welcomemsg say Hey ^7H^2Q ^7* ^2K^7O; set hq-cycleup vstr hq_3; set hq-cycledn vstr hq_1"

• the red marked areas "hq" are the replaced clantags, I simply replaced 2s with hq
• the yellow marked areas "hq" are the name. First the name without tag, to select and then the welcome message with tag

I just wanted to say again this script was not made in a serious way, its just a funny, and individual way to say hello. Of course you could just do
/bind h say "hello guys" but aint that boring? Here is a new fresh way
