Do you think it is ethically correct, that a member or 2 of a clan should be allowed to participate in a 'Team'?
This is what I do not understand. Currently we see Clans, and a few 'Teams' around.
I personally think a Clan is a team of people, and is no different to a team - So why should people be allowed to participate in both?
Please, make comments - This will be interesting 
(National Teams I feel should be the only exception)

I see no point in being in a clan and being in a team if it's not a national team. it's just a way of someone saying they want to be in two clans at once. it shouldn't be allowed.

I gues if a clan member plays in different clans for different cfgs it seems fine by me, but if he plays in same cfg like bro for both clans it's not right, so i guess that involves one of my clan members and we will talk to him since our leadership team has taken a decission about it.

Agreed. National teams for the world cup (or just for patriotism, if you're into that sort of thing 
) are understandable, as are "fun teams" for the hell of it sometimes. But "fun teams" that play CWs? Why not put the effort into the clan you're in?

IMHO partisipation in clan and team no consist something wrong.
But i think teams should only play Friendly games.
This make clans closer to each other and helps community to keep alive longer, develop an atmosphere of friendship inside.
Personally, i'm in PHC clan and in DDR team, and doing it coz i want to play as many CW's/FW's as possible for gain more expirience and havin more fun,
+ PHC play more TDM type but DDR gonna play more freeze tag games (that i love more

Well, the big difference between a clan and a team is that clans are official teams that have CW's and teams are unofficial teams of friends having fun playing togather. A match of a team vs a clan can not be counted official, they can only hava a friendly war. A clan has trainings, a team mostly not, cos teams play for fun and don't have any stats as clans have. every clan\team usually elaborating it's own tactic based on many things like players what it have, prefered maps etc. Sharing tactics and all sh*t depends more from personality of every ppl, it can be shared without any team
btw, i never shared anything from clan to team nor backwards

IMO quake is a game 1st of all, a team is for the fun part only, no need to train/have strategy/respect time and many other stuff witch are not exctlly in the cool part of playing a game. In a clan there is a leadership/ oraganization/ expecting results etc.
So team and clan, both are great and i don't see any problem for being in a clan and in a team in the same time
Now being in 2 clans is not the question asked, and there is already many thread about it in this forum.

i can understand it if :
-teams are made to play a specific gametype , or cfg, or even another mod different that the clan plays,of course they arent ranked.
