The difference is exactly four letters.

Look here: CLAN. TEAM.

CLAN TEAM

After consulting professor Nigel Chesterguy from Charles Xavier Atomic Institute of Copenhagen and comparing our notes, we came upon the conclusion that this chart -

- could very well be the cause of all the confusion. We developed a simple means of establishing the debated difference -

- as you can see, there isn't really that much difference. We had to proceed with caution and subtelty, carefully analysing every small bit of info to make sure we did not miss anything relevant. What we discovered shook the very foundation of our believes. As it turned out, we are ruled by an extraterrestial race of shapeshifting jew lizards, and they control every aspect of your daily life. If you want to have a shot at defending yourself from their polarized mind control magnetic rays shot from a space station built on the dark side of the moon, you need to repeat this gesture ten times.

teams dont have to be focussed on being the best, while most clans are trying to be the best.

Clans play in ranking, teams don't. Multiclanning is forbidden for obvious reasons, multiteaming is not because it doesn't matter in how many teams a player is.

ye, as kuz xD said.. clan rankable, team no.

teams on e+ enviroment are generally divided in two ways..
for regroup friends that are on different clans and to build national teams in order to enjoy some annual events (not in rank like THIS)

Not unless the team consists of clanless players (in which case, it's, by definition, a clan already).

Let me draw you a clear picture here (e+ definiton, it may vary in different communities/games). A 'clan' is a group of people that compete under rules in a set environment, in E+ case, the clan ranking. A team is a group of people that have formed a team for the reason to, either, have a cool common tag, have fun playing each other/other teams, or any other obscure reason, except compete in the clan ranking or official tourneys.

To sum it up, clans are serious, teams are not (not 'so'). Clans can compete in the clan ranking, teams can not (because they consist of people that are already members of various clans).

I hope i don't have to explain why being in multiple clans is a no-no. Confused
