All english speaking people never need to learn other language ...they count on that all others understand what they say....but it is often them who complain if someone talk in his /her language
This tell from start is only for polish people...so why not let them have it
So for me is all ok to talk in polish or other language here...dont read if you cant *S*
I dont talk about ALL english speaking people but some and I guess many english speaking people will give me a hard time after this ..hehehe

@american...of course you cant speak any other language, you're an american
@mona - i totaly agree

I've noticed that all english speaking people don't even try to speak any other languages. I don't know if they know any other languages in general. Are there some obligatory studies of foreign languages in schools of GB or USA?
In Finland we HAVE TO learn two other languages in school. That is English and Swedish. Some learn Russian. Learning starts from the third grade. If you study further, go to high school and you are not math-oriented, you have to learn also some other languages like French, German or Spanish.
I myself have learned in school English, some Swedish, German and Spanish and I concider myself pretty poor with foreign languages in general Finnish standard.
Finnish is language which no one knows, so I have to speak English when I'm playing. I don't find it annoying but I would feel pretty left out if I couldn't understand any English at all. I find it really cool that people who say "i not speak english" try to speak some english anyway. For example players from USA never try to speak anything else.

Yes I couldn’t agree more mona, too many English people take for granted that they will be understood. I feel often quite humbled by how well many people talk and understand English so well.
surely if the topic says 'only polish' , nobody else is able to help, and that is the case. just forget about it..no need to complain to increase post count now is there
I must agree. The vast majority of the Australian Population know only English.
I have a few friends in England, I feel that here they attempt at introducing another language - Lots of English have learnt French as their second nature language.

Ha bon ? dis m'en plus s'il te plait
I know that my English is not the best, however, neither the worst.
However, the arrogance of some people whose language is English, frightens me.
I asked for example on deex' server a simple question. Then somebody answered and said, "can you ask that once more in English"?.
Every European player had understood the issue, and because i don't use always the correct grammer, i get laughed from some morons.
That does not worry me in fact, but it is already embarrassing how some persons behave, even they don't know a 2nd or 3rd language.
I could agree... if it weren't for the fact that some people use the english language for their own, dark, twisted, evil, malevolent ends....
Come here mister Snuffkins, time for more tea. HAHAaaaa.
Ok, more seriously - in this day and age, i think it's nearly obligatory to learn english AT LEAST a little. You don't have to know the correct grammar, spelling, or other non-important details like that. The point is to get the message across in a way other people can understand, and i think most people here can achieve it.
Of course, there are these random mutants who can't do even that (Hi Szpak! . These people need their own little threads and topics, in which they can communicate with other people in a language they understand.
As for people who laff at others who don't know english very well - try speaking that guy's native language, asshole. Let's see who can understand who's language better...
I am often mortified at the behavior of other Americans and their attitudes toward language. If you speak two languages you're bilingual, if you speak 3 or more you're multilingual, if you speak only one language...
you're American.
At least I've tried to learn bits and pieces of the langauges I encounter on a daily basis in E+ and the music scene. Proud to say I can follow a conversation in German up to a point, even if I don't really know how to respond all the time.
i see everyone is working off my post to say that some americans are ignorant cuz they cant speak anothr language. i was not in any way making fun of anyones english. if i offended sum1 i didnt mean it and am sry. i was just saying i wish i could understand what they were saying. anyways i am learning a language in school. and am not too good at it so i kno what its like.
