Try to stop Wireless Zero Configuration service in windows after it successfully found your wireless network (or unload the appropriate helper software from vendor of your wifi adapter if you use it instead) / If this doesnt help touch Beacon Interval in advanced wireless settings of your router making it bigger or smaller. Default is 100 in most cases.
