hey guys,

im kinda new here in this great community - so first i gotta say hello excessiveplus!

now` in the last days i had some problems with my configuration and stuff, but it's not so bad....
just one thing is hardly comprehensible and understandable for me:

from time to time i got some constantly shooting bugs, i can only stop this by pressing agian the mouse1 button.

can you guys tell me why?

hey mate an welcome to the mod always nice to see new faces im sure your gonna be a great player in time to come, As for your problem with the bug im not sure how to help you.
i have the same problem my self. been here for 4 years an havnt found out how to stop it yet lol.

i found something like

in_mouse -1
in_restart

i think its coz my razer got overclocked usb @1000mhz ultrapolling...

it isnt e+ bug or smth, just quake 3 is sensitive on fps drops. The best solution for u is switch in task processor affinity for q3 to cpu1 (it means second core) and for other programs set it to uses cpu0.

ah thats good if u got duo porcessor XD

but does this help to run game much smoother?

overally having 2cores helping have stady fps while in bacground u have other aplications or not

yeah thats right... i tried to give quake highest priority, but dont works anyway Confused

should i try to put my ultrapolling @500hz... i think that will be no real "resolution"...

Its some mouse problem i assume.

Its some mouse problem i assume.

wrong its simply a overflow in mouse buffer if i remember right, most times combinated with a short msec lag.

I'm guessing you have clocked to 1000hz. Try 500.

Ah, you even wrote that you did. I just knew straight from the first post...

I can't have 1000hz either, does the same thing.

I'm on 125 now again, sucks for gaming but need it for other USB devices... 500hz was perfectly fine to game with.
