constant shooting - a bug?
K,here it is.Unrar the folder and right click on the 2 .inf files and then "install".After that run setup, check "Filter on device",choose your desired rate, check "Mouses only" and click on "install service".IIRC,.After that "Restart" which should restart the usb port rate and it should be working.Check it with "usb mouserate checker 1.1b"
2 things about this fix:
- 1000Hz might not work on older motherboards (it doesnt work on mine,KM got effective 700Hz in quake on his mx500 and 1ms delay) while I couldnt on my 510 but mbo is old,via kt333.
- km says it may be needed to apply this fix after every startup/restart of windows but that was not the case with me,so dont take it for granted.Even if its the case,if I could get 1000 Hz i would go thru the process every time, cause its worth it.

it only depends of sensor or dsp in mouse. That why some mince can work on real 1000hz some only on 700 or work correct only on max 250hz.
btw. here i put pack with most usefull and working stuff what i have for mouse.

just had another thought.
short is alive? zomg!
i have a razer too...
set @ 1000hz, 2000dpi
i use the in_mouse -1 and in_restart method... but here is the article from razer:
PROBLEM
These are the problems encountered when using Razer Copperhead mouse in Quake III (CPMA mod/OSP/baseQ3/etc):- Left mouse clicks frequently not detected when moving the mouse quickly and clicking at the same time
- Left mouse button seemed depressed when clickedSOLUTION
"Try typing this in the Q3 console:\in_mouse -1
\in_restartThe standard input method for Q3 is buffered DirectInput (in_mouse 1), and it receiveing mouse reports at 1000 times a second could cause the buffer to chocke up and disregard some mouse events, as the buffer size is pre-defined and IIRC not dynamic.
in_mouse -1 reverts Q3 back to standard Win32 mouse handling, which is event based an has no buffer.
Use in_mouse -1, as the DI implementation has about 12ms lag, and the non-DI implementation has no lag. The only problem with in_mouse -1 is the risk of mouse movement being clipped by the edge of the screen, which is a fairly large problem in CPMA. At 640x480 at 125 FPS you will most likely will run into this problem, and the best way around it seems to be using On-the-Fly sensitivity to reduce your mouse to about 800dpi (or you might be able to do just that thru the Razer control panel) and adjust your Q3 sensitivity accordingly.

Thank you ratz :thumbleft: And maybe Flex, dunno what's in that link, haven't clicked yet and was also rudely woken by a phonecall less than 5 minutes ago and if this contains no spelling or grammatical errors then wow.
