I created another little tool like quakesay:
I don't know if anyone is interested in this, but maybe you also hate to create gradients in hex code by hand, too. Uuhm I wrote this little script which can create color gradients:

e.g.:

You can easily choose two colors or enter two hex codes by hand, enter your nickname or whatever and press go.
If you want to encolor the special q3e+ letters, you have to open qname.exe, type your word there and copy&paste it into quakecolor.
