Dest-Servers?

hi everybody. some ppl from dest and some friends of them have decided to buy a root-server. and ofc the first idea was hosting a few gameservers on it but im realy askin myself if this is wanted by the community. i mean there are allready alot of servers and also a dest-freeze-server(pb + pure) hosted by seal. but noone cares about them, ive never seen ppl besides infinity and dest's on the server.
ofc the servers of seal arent that good as mowlys for example but the root we want to bye has a very fast connection (~4 Gb for the whole maintaince) and the hardware is realy rocking to ensure good pings and
"server-lag-less" playing.
but is there a need for more servers? just to bring it on the point: do u want one more freeze-, one more tdm- and one or two more tournament-servers?

Fast servers with good configs are always welcome, but what you said is true, there are alot of servers out there that aren't used at all, or just barely. Would be cool to have an alternative for 2!sweet and Mr. servers, but i cannot honestly say there would be people playing on it...

the servers of seal are minimum as good as 2!Sweet-Freeze.

Well, not for me, they aren't. On Seal's servers i get ping around 100-110, and on 2!sweet max is 50-60, i'd say that's a big difference.

and another problem with the Seal servers is their offline-time. Everytime i wanna play on em they are offline and that cant be when you wanna play a Clanwar or trainings etc. So for DEST itself it would be a big advantage but i dunno if it would be an advantage for other players (remember the servers will be pb+pure)

Recipe is quite simple, really. Good location+fast connection+advertising+nice config=lots of people playing. Unfortunately, Tar spoke the bitter truth - there's just not enough people around to fill all but those most popular servers. So i guess Mow and Mullder stole all the players, or something 
@Yeah I'm really eager to check out the server if you decide to put it online, but i just wouldn't want you to waste your money and suffer the disappointment, if our pesimistic opinions turn true.

yes thats the point. the server relay dosnt cost me a lot cos we share the price but i still wounder if the money couldnt be used to buy some weed, too
