dmFlags
how to set it, to make lava and acid make no damage?
Imposible. U can only give ppl on respawn Battle Suit.
DMFLAGS
dmflags - used to set numerous gameplay settings. Each setting has a value. Add together the values of the desired settings to get the present value for DMFLAGS. Dmflags are "latched" and any changes will not take effect until the map cycles or a warmup completes.
Example: PowerUps Drop (64) + Force Respawn (128) = 192
1 No health
2 No powerups
4 No armor
8 No falling damage
16 Fully Loaded
32 Infinite Ammo
64 PowerUps Drop
128 Spawn Farthest
256 Force Respawn
512 Fixed FOV
1024 Enable old Q3 BFG
2048 Enable CTF techs
4096 Allow Grapple to sky
8192 Allow Grapple
16384 Offhand Grapple
32768 No Footsteps Sound
that is all the manual says.
um where u get that?
in qtool its just going up to 64
http://www.wireheadstudios.org/generations/manual/server.html
this is a manual for a mod called generation in q3 but should also work on E+....i am trying some now.
wrong ...;i just checked qtool :
/* DM Flags
*
* 1 - No Self-Damage
* 2 - No Falling-Damage
* 4 - Infinite Health
* 8 - Infinite Armor
* 16 - Infinite Ammo
* 32 - Drop Weapons on Death
* 64 - Don't allow \drop
*
* Example: No Self-Damage + Infinite Ammo -> 1 + 16 = 17
**/
looks like every mod has its setting.and ours is fixed untill 64 and even numbers are different....
we could fix the damage with setting the health regeneration higher
would be good against mg lamas.
but that wouldnt fix the main problem
edit:
nihil? please read my post again ;>
i said it wouldnt fix the main problem
it just would fix that u never will die cause of the damage
NVm

but that wouldnt fix the main problem
it wouldnt help. weapons would need to be recalibrated, and crosshair would still bounce due to damage.
That's a damn shame
well it will be nice if it will be posible to set server that as im meintored, walking on acid or lava will do not make eny damage or "player crosshair jumping"
