I'm moving this off the BE board so as not to take away from the thread it started in. Nix, I never saw Dave Weckl play before, but after watching a few videos he inspired the hell outta me. I just got done rocking the shit outta my kit. 
Thx for introducing me to him, heheh. Anyways, any other drummers in E+? I'm sure there are a few. If so and you're interested in talking percussion drop a line here. 
I've been playing about 5 years and am always looking to hear from other players and maybe learn a few new things.

I play several instruments. Drums are one of them, but I prefer to program them nowadays, as I sold my Tama 17-piece a few years back.

best drummer i know. he owns Salsa !! wich is a groove that needs lots of independence.
its been 1 year since i started playing salsa now. and sometimes my hands start doing things i dont want 
they have grown a brain for theirself check Benny Greb too he owns !

I am not a drummer...I am a keyboardist but I use my midi instrument to produce GRaNd PerCussiVe Sounds... Well,as far as i am not so skilled to such matters i can not find the best inspiration.Anyway,apart from drumms i really love the sound of orchestral percussions such as the Gong,Timbani snare and many others.
However,i have to learn the logic of percussions better ... and later to add them to my songs :roll:

dave weckl is one of the big names in the drum scene! so aire steve gadd, thomas lang, jojo mayer and many more! i met jojo mayer in real live once and he she gave me an autpgraph . i also met johan langell after a concert (the drummer of pain of salvation.. also a real genius). i got a picture of him and me
im the guy on the right (and im lookin a little bit confused... u know.. i meeting one of my big idols )
