that's about taste and needs, not about "which one is better".
if you're playing in servers with bunnyhop physics [beer] and not playing in vq3 servers [vanilla, borg<e5r, vq3-alike movement>] - train cpm because vq3 would be totally useless for you.
go trickstyle server, make " \callvote physics bunnyhop " and start trainings. Winking

cpm is more popular on runs and vq3 is on freestyle but you can play both in fs and run. Vanilla runs are much harder for me and there are always less competitors on vq3 run side than cpm
