If you are in for it foks and you have time make a thread asking for demos and shout in on the shoutbox a few times. Damn i stopped recording the last week or so and lost good frags :[
btw, i don't visit the league forum but a week or so ago i saw mow posting about a movie concerning the league. flex seemed interested at the time.

wokay...ive given this some thought...just didnt wanna pop it up earlier cos i wasnt exactly an old and wise member of the community was i? hehe..still am not..but since u guys brought it up...
hmm i think the best way to do this is to form an editing team...dont think one person should do it but thats up to the community..since foksie volunteered lemme do it as well..im into movie editing and was gonna make my own neways but it would be nice to work on an e+ movie...
also it would be a good idea to form a beta tester team as well...in case ur not familiar with the term, beta testers are the folks that help the editors by giving feedback on the video...at all stages..for example theyd look at the demo or the captured video and tell the editors what they think of it...this is important because this is bound to be a large project and its helpful to have different povs on whats good and whats not....
also if this is going to be an official e+ thingy it would be nice to hear what the dev team thinks of it...
imo a video like this should under no circumstances be larger than 15 mins max! if uve watched a lot of videos ull easily see that beyond that people just get bored....
also the editors team should have complete discretion in choosing what should be in the video and what shouldn't....
hmm about collecting demos...the best way is for people to record demos and if there's something they think is spectacular enough to be included in the video then cut that part of the demo using q3sdc or q3mme...u can find the 2 programs at the following links.

imo a 15 mins movie is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge project and if it is to be done right then it's gonna take a lot of work for a min of 2 months...so lots of patience would be needed..

neways didnt understand what u were saying in that post...but imo anything really spectacular should be worth putting in the movie...doesnt matter which gametype.

Imo make a few sections:
1v1 - 4 mins,
freeze - 4 mins,
tdm 4 - mins,
ctf (?) 4 mins;
etc.
