E+ vs q3 TEAM ARENA
hello all. I have ask for ppl whu know more abaut case then me.
It is possible tu put gametype, powerups, and maps from Q3 TEAM ARENA to E+??
Some time ago I got this game and there is many great maps, gametype. Also Protect the Lead, protect the base, CTF....

Quake III: Team Arena brings even more of a punch for players who enjoy Quake 3. Team Arena has new weapons such as the nail gun, prox launcher, chain gun. New abilities such as kamikaze and invulnerability sphere, new types of game modes such as new modes of CTF, harvester, hunting and overload.
Anyone who really enjoys Quake III will definitely enjoy Team Arena.
Types of games:
Harvester - Objective is to collect skulls in the middle of the map that are generated when a member of the opposite team dies. Once skulls are collected you must take them to the enemy base to score. If you are killed you loose all skulls.
Overload - Objective is to destroy the other teams skull-adorned obelisk. The skull has a total of 2500 health and regenerates 1 health per second.
One flag CTF - Collect the flag in the middle of the map and return it to the enemy base without being killed.
New weapons:
Prox mine launcher - Launches prox mines on the ground, wall or other players. Will explode if enemy is close or after 30 seconds.
Chain gun - Chain gun similar to other guns in other first person shooters.
Nail gun - Like the gun in the original Quake. A little slower however.
New items:
Doubler - Doubles the damage.
Scout - Doubles speed of character.
Guard - 200 armor 200 health.
Overload with some tweaks seems nice

Well, the problem with supporting all features from TA is that the mod would need to be based on missionpack (Team Arena) instead of baseq3, so the mod would be incompatible with normal quake 3 because it would need all the media from TA.
Can you make it compatible? And make it as future e+ update?

This mod that someone created features the TA weapons and powerups, without requiring anything but the mod itself. So, it is possible. But, all the weapons and powerups themselves have to be configurable just like the rest of the items that Q3 can offer.
On another note, the TA gametypes would only work on TA maps for the most part.
It would make the game more funny, but mb not in ftag.. imho those new weapons are created to play in a basic q3 config where all is slow and u have the time to walk inside maps.. In E+ usually we fly and turn the map fast!
(QL is for snails, slow and sux ._. . Excessiveplus is fast & rock!)
Btw mb a dedicated config would be appropriate, the important is to disable powerups bye a feature
The thing to have more alternatives in game for ppl sounds good sure!
