Congradulations for your grades, working hard always pays off
And about my studies.. well, i finished my last year of highschool with A and i got into Landscape Architecture, starting in October
You are aiming for an architect to?
Why everyone aims for architect?
Im not one of those
Landscape Architecture
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landscape_architecture#Europe
Landscape architecture is the art, planning, design, management, preservation and rehabilitation of the land and the design of human-made constructs. The scope of the profession includes architectural design, site planning, housing estate development, environmental restoration, town or urban planning, urban design, parks and recreation planning, regional planning, and historic preservation. A practitioner in the field of landscape architecture is called a landscape architect.
Also, for all those wannabe architects, not just landscape architects.. who cares if lot of ppl wanna study that?
Its not easy to study it and only the ones who work hard and have a sense of proportion and space will succeed, also, after the studies you have to show what you learned and through your work ppl ackgnowledge you.
Ive seen a lot of works of architects with diplomas.. i can honestly say.. fuck that. Its not worth shit if its not "your call", "your thing".. if you know what i mean. Some ppl study it but dont have the grip. Time wasted in vein..
Sorry for going off topic...
@Leukothea
Thanx and everything said true...
Edit: Foksie.. anotherone with a point..
quoting a huge post that right above your is such a waste of space, dont you think?
@topic: 2 more exams to go, 06.08 and 13.09, and then all is clean
Hitting arround 4.75 grade avarage (5 is max, 2 is minimum)
im an idiot.. whats Gcse?
gcse are the exams 16 year old take just before they leave school in england (maybe wales and scotland too).
well done ina and tyr for ur results (and whoever else). gl for the future. me myself has jst got one painful year left of my engineering degree
I got 90/100 in the exam after middle-school a year ago, acing math/science and getting 40/50 from polish/history.. apart from that I barely passed this year (thanks to my trip to Term-land), but being in the best class of the 4th school in the country, I'm not complaining too much
GCSE stands for GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION
it means you did ok at school level and the more gcse's you gain the more options are open to you for Further Education, then next step is moving into Higher Education (specialisation)
I say this to all who did well in exams, be proud of your achievement, you earned it.
I got 90/100 in the exam after middle-school
