Excessive Plus shows up in my mods

But whenever I load it, screen goes black and then it's the same title screen as it was when I started. I installed the Quake 3 Patch and whatever else. If there is a specific thing I'm suppose to type in the CMD that would be great.

Excessive Plus shows up in my mods
Excessive plus doesn't have a custom title screen.
[19:39:33] [@di[g]it] A payee receiving a traveler's cheque should follow its normal procedures for depositing cheques into its bank account: usually, endorsement by stamp or signature and listing of the cheque and its amount on the deposit slip. The bank account will be credited with the amount of the cheque as with any other negotiable item submitted for clearance.

Excessive Plus shows up in my mods
Load up the mod, drop the console and type /xp_, then hit tab, if it shows some possible commands beginning with xp, the mod is installed.

Oh ok, that shows up. Thanks for the help. Just need to find out my .cfg is never saving my settings when I quit, I had this problem before.

It should save your settings to q3config.cfg in your excessiveplus folder. If not, you can use this thread to create a very customized config which you can save as autoexec.cfg in your excessiveplus folder to guarantee it's loaded each time the mod is.

I haven't touched Quake in years, the older version had a custom title screen if I remember. Will the Mod automatically load when I start Q3? If that's the case, I don't see anything that was different when it was loaded.
