I have a very annoying problem right now in Quake3.
Which i would like to see be solved , i cant figure out myself anymore about what it can be, so the moment is here to ask some help from others.

The last time i played quake3 (e+) everything was fine, i quit the game and turned off pc.
The next time i started up my pc, and started up quake3 there was something wrong. The screen was sooo dark.. not playable anymore. So i tought i boost contrast and brightness, this helps but it fucks up the colours and screen (everything is so ugly then).

So when i switch between windows (where all the colours are good / normal) to quake3, some kind of setting get fucked up. The first time u notice is in the intro from ID Software, you see the good colours for about 1 second, and then u see it switching to bad dark colours..

I have tried to replace all my config backups (where everything was good) , but this didnt help. so i think its not a quake3 config related settings, but i also dont think it is a monitor related setting (cuz the colours in all other games and apps are good)

Does somebody know this problem?
Or can somebody help me???
